Job summary

Azusa Solutions is seeking a Cleared Senior Software Engineer/System Engineer to join our team of consultants. This role requires an active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance and local to the DC/MD/VA area. The work involves productizing a mission-focused suite for broader DoD deployment in a multi-quarter program through FY27.

You will lead encryption libraries and key management services while collaborating across teams, establishing best practices, and guiding architecture to secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and rapport with team members and clients.
• Strong Java/C/C++, Python, Go, or Rust development skills.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud platforms.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead changes to build encryption libraries and key management services.
• Establish best practices and ensure successful designs through planning, testing, and defect resolution.
• Manage day-to-day project progress toward milestones.
• Participate in project planning and status communications.
