Job Description

As a Security Officer - Cleared Armed in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a secure environment by working collaboratively with your team, upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This position may also involve driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Day TimeFri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the aerospace and defense location.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Applicants must hold a Level III Armed Certification if applying for positions in Texas.
• Applicants must have an active DoD Clearance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
