Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-time Cleared Security Officer with an active DoD security clearance. The role is unarmed and requires overnight coverage on Thursdays through Sundays. Pay is $23 per hour, with benefits and holiday/vacation provisions as described.

Responsibilities include patrolling, welcoming guests, reporting incidents, and acting as a first responder when needed. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• DoD clearance required (national security eligibility).
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Prefer DoD-cleared site security experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services to protect personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot, by bicycle, or by vehicle around the facility.
• Greet guests and escort visitors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns or incidents.
• Respond to alarms and act as first responder in emergencies.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Part-time Cleared Security Officers - Clearance Required - Unarmed.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / hour

Shift: Overnights coverage for shifts on Thursdays - Sundays

• Must have an active DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
