Job summary

Allied Universal in Englewood, CO is seeking a Cleared Security Office-Patrol Driver for full-time, unarmed work. You will patrol the facility, respond to alarms, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security across a tech-focused site.

Position requires DoD Secret Clearance, valid driver’s license, and willingness to undergo a background investigation and drug screen. Shifts include Thu-Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, with training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility including offices, common areas, parking, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and shift communications per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $29.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in a technology-focused location, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
