Job summary

Bestgate Engineering is seeking a Cleared Front End Developer (Angular) to join our fast paced team in Maryland. The candidate will collaborate with systems and software engineers to design, develop, release, and support user interfaces built with Angular 20 and Pega Constellation UI components.

The role requires 5+ years of UI development experience, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a UI developer role on a software team.
• Experience with Angular 20+ and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing, developing, releasing, and supporting UIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.

Cleared Front End Developer (Angular)

Summary

We have an immediate need for a highly skilled Senior User Interface (UI) Developer to join our fast paced team. The candidate will collaborate with systems and software engineers and other UI developers to design, develop, release, and support User Interfaces for multiple feature sets deployed within an enterprise workflow platform. The User Interface is implemented with Angular 20 and incorporates Pega Constellation UI components to provide an optimal end-user experience. The candidate will translate customer requirements into functional, performant, and appealing User Interfaces and participate in User Experience (UX) analysis, design, and prototyping to maximize usability.

Required

• 5 + years of experience performing in a User Interface Developer role on a software development team.
• Experience with Angular 20+.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML.
• Experience with CSS.
• Experience interfacing with RESTful back-end APIs.
• Experience designing, developing, releasing, and supporting User Interfaces.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into functional, performant, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience collaborating with software engineers, systems engineers, and other UI developers.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additionalexperience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly

Desired

• Familiarity with NX Smart Monorepos.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and solutions.
• Experience with Pega Constellation UI components.
• Experience with UX analysis, design, and prototyping.
