Qualifications
BS in engineering or related field with 4 years of experience; or 2 years with a Graduate degree; minimum 8 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance at DoD Top Secret level or ability to maintain clearance is required.
Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end circuit actions for new service, upgrades, modifications, rehomes, renewals, disconnects, and restorations in a DoD/DoW environment.
Review topology, bandwidth, demarcation, and Layer 1 needs to ensure correct service ordering and site delivery.
Prepare, submit, and track DISA Storefront requests and other telecom orders for government and commercial transport services.
Coordinate with DISA, government orgs, carriers, site contacts, and internal teams to provision and activate services.
Troubleshoot provisioning and turn-up issues including node delivery, interface type, cross-connect errors, and documentation gaps.
Validate circuit installation and readiness by coordinating tests and confirming handoff details for activation.
Review service orders and provisioning docs for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
Resolve discrepancies in node delivery, interfaces, service records, and provider coordination.
Maintain inventories, trackers, and lifecycle documentation in secure environments.
Support outage response and service restoration coordination for circuit actions.
