Job summary

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. in Charlottesville, Virginia, is seeking a Cleared DevOps Engineer to maintain development, testing, and production environments and to build automation, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, strong Kubernetes experience, Grafana dashboards, security controls, and OS administration. You will work onsite with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience.
Experience with deployment technologies such as Kubernetes for orchestration.
Experience with metrics monitoring and dashboards (Grafana).
Understanding of user access controls and security practices.
OS administration and configuration management knowledge.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Understanding of SDLC best practices.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with extended hours if needed.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, maintain development, testing, and production environments.
Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
Manage CI/CD pipeline to maximize efficiency.
Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
Develop and maintain solutions for admin, backup, disaster recovery, and security/perf monitoring.
Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements.
Build and maintain tools and microservices for deployment and operations platform.
Test system integrity and deployments, making improvements as needed.
Work with open-source technologies and CI/CD tools (Git).
