Job summary

CACI is seeking a cleared DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join a mission-focused team supporting complex deployments. The role emphasizes hands-on work with RHEL, Puppet, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance automation, security, and scalability.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity engineers and developers to deliver secure, scalable systems while maintaining operational reliability and modernizing deployment processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
• Proficiency with Puppet and Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Understanding of Agile development practices, DevOps methodologies, and secure software delivery principles
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across OS, network, and application layers

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL-based environments to support operational deployments
• Develop and maintain automation and configuration management solutions using Puppet and Ansible
• Support Tier 3/4 escalations, performing deep-dive troubleshooting across infrastructure and application layers
• Improve deployment processes and reduce manual interventions through scripting and tool integration
• Collaborate with software developers, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity engineers to deliver secure, scalable systems
• Document installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and deployment workflows
• Assist with maintaining CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions to ensure production reliability
• Implement security features and address newly identified vulnerabilities and best practices
