Responsibilities

• Review title files for clearance and underwriting requirements to ensure readiness for closing.
• Examine and prepare clearance documentation, including affidavits, satisfaction, and payoff documents.
• Assist with obtaining underwriting approvals, especially for high-liability matters.
• Review and verify closing documents for proper title language and supporting exhibits.
• Coordinate communication among transaction parties, closers, and underwriters to facilitate timely closings.
• Resolve issues at closing related to clearance, ALTA, and bill adjustments.
• Prepare and review policies, endorsements, and regulatory FINCEN documentation.
• Support post-closing clearance resolution and outstanding title issues.
• Manage and track files through organized notes and follow-up procedures.
• Support operational tasks and contribute to process improvements.
