Job summary

SAP NS2 is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Functional Application Architect in Chantilly, VA. The role works with customers and developers to translate business processes into configurations and new functionality.

The candidate should have 2-5 years of consulting experience, experience with enterprise software or cloud apps (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Google), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, or Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years as a consultant; experience with enterprise software a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applications.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
• Serve as a liaison between technical team and stakeholders.
• Design and develop new functions or improve existing ones.
• Gather and analyze requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experience.
• Interface with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities.
• Create documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and help files.
• Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure they meet stated requirements.
• Provide technical support to end users and helping them troubleshoot issues with software applications.
