Job Description

Join a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier in the cell and gene therapy industry as an Aseptic Technician. This role provides an excellent opportunity to start a career in a fast-growing company that specializes in cell preservation within biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. You will engage with daily production processes, ensuring the health and viability of biologic materials during manufacturing, storage, and distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Routine processes of quality control, manufacturing, filling, and packaging of Quality System regulated compliant media products.
  • Work inside cleanroom suites, standing for several hours at a time.
  • Perform environmental monitoring to maintain sterile conditions.
  • Check raw materials to ensure batches contain proper materials and quantities.
  • Aseptically fill finished product containers under sterile conditions.
  • Clean equipment and classified cleanrooms, including ceilings, walls, surfaces, and floors.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while fully gowned in cleanroom attire.
  • Operate equipment such as balances, peristaltic pumps, filters, pH meters, and pipettes.
  • Follow SOPs, batch records, and safety policies in all tasks.
  • Accurately complete batch record documentation and GMP paperwork.
  • Participate in process monitoring, improvement activities, and risk management.
  • Assist in process deviation investigations and contribute to process improvements.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of relevant life sciences manufacturing, quality, or lab experience in a cGMP/FDA regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with aseptic processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science for Level II role.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Ability to perform fast-paced and multi-step operations accurately.
  • Meet aseptic gowning qualification requirements and communicate effectively while gowned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Comfortable working in a small company with a fast-changing environment.
  • No unusual sensitivity to typical laboratory chemicals, including sanitization agents.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
