Position: Cleanroom Technician I

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform basic mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  2. Conduct leak tests.
  3. Operate hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
  4. Read and interpret work instructions for accuracy.
  5. Communicate effectively with management and team members on the production floor.
  6. Perform standard testing and minor troubleshooting.
  7. Maintain quality standards throughout all assembly steps.
  8. Perform additional duties as required.
  9. Maintain regular attendance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Related experience in a non-manufacturing environment is considered.
  • Cable and harness assembly experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and bench tools.
  • Attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints is desirable.
Educational/Certification Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some technical coursework, AA degree, or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
  • At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with helium leak testing, module and subassembly testing, and inspection is a plus.
Work Environment:

  • Work in manufacturing and/or cleanroom environments.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs, and over 25 lbs with assistance.
  • Move arms, hands, and fingers as required.
  • Visual acuity for task performance.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Extended use of phone and computer may be necessary.
Environmental Exposure:
  • Use of personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Exposure to noise, electrical hazards, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, debris, and vibrations.
Travel:
  • Potential out-of-town travel for training or meetings.
