Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Cleanroom Technician/Custodian I-Temp. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.

Summary:

Inside cleanup; sweep floors, mop, vacuum as scheduled. Including but not limited to cleaning, dusting and removal of trash and recyclable materials, minor building maintenance such as light bulbs, filters, and minor building repairs. Cleaning of floors, waxing and shampooing. Assistance in moving furniture from offices or tables and chairs for specific events. Clean restrooms and refill as needed. Other duties as assigned as they are related to the needs of the position.


Responsibilities:

  • Wet mop the floors in each area and the gowning areas.
  • Damp specialized cloth dusting of all horizontal surfaces.
  • Empty trash, hazardous / combustible waste, and recyclable products from each area.
  • Restock clean room supply cabinets daily; restock clean room suits when returned from cleaning.
  • Remove and stage wafers for reclaim or recycle shipments.
  • Remove all clean room suits for cleaning daily, bundle and take to dock.
  • Ensure good house keeping practices in all assigned areas: chemical storage, clutter, supply and wafer storage, etc
  • Minor building maintenance as needed-such as light bulbs, filters, and other building related items as needed.
  • Cleaning of floors, waxing, carpets cleaning; operates wet/dry vacuum.
  • Dusting and cleaning windows, blinds and surfaces as needed.
  • Assist in moving furniture from offices, and tables and chairs for specific events when required.
  • Restrooms, cleaning and refilling supplies as needed.
  • Maintain and up-keep cleaning equipment.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to sit
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Sporadically required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Other duties as required or assigned.
Education & Credentials:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and related experience.
