Job summary

LeanTeq in Tempe, AZ seeks a Chemical Technician to safely handle chemicals, manage solutions and waste, and perform cleaning on critical parts in a cleanroom environment. You will maintain production records, take measurements for critical dimensions, and collaborate to meet customer delivery schedules.

Minimum qualifications include a certificate or associate’s degree in chemical technology or related field, and comfort with computer workflows.

Qualifications

• Certificate or associate degree in chemical technology or related field preferred.
• Some lab experience or equivalent with chemicals is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials.
• Pride in workmanship and strong quality orientation.
• Comfortable using computers for various workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team to meet delivery schedules.
• Work in a cleanroom for specialty processes.
• Support design-of-experiments and customer process development.
• Handle chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste safely.
• Perform cleaning operations on critical parts.
• Maintain production records for parts processed through each station.
• Take measurements for critical dimensions.
• Other duties as assigned.
