Job summary

DuPont™ Spectrum™ is seeking a manufacturing trainer for Clean Room and General Manufacturing areas in Pittsfield, MA. You will ensure adherence to procedures, review end-of-shift paperwork, and supervise molding and production personnel to sustain workload.

The role includes training new employees on attire, gowning, and process flow; identifying training needs and ensuring compliance with quality standards. A strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree preferred.
• 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of molds and injection molding.
• Computer proficiency in email management, file management, Microsoft Word/Excel and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, follow instructions, skills in judgment, ability to concentrate and simple math.
• Must be able to accurately fill out paperwork as required.
• Understands quality inspection requirements of each part and makes accurate judgment of acceptable parts.
• Ability to lead team meetings including Daily Visual Management boards.

Responsibilities

• Training, productivity, quality and safety in the Clean Room & General Manufacturing areas.
• Ensures that all manufacturing procedures and work instructions are adhered to and reviews production paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Oversees molding and production area and personnel to maintain workload.
• Trains and monitors new employees on attire and gowning in the cleanroom.
• Identifies training needs and ensures shift employees understand processes.
• Disciplinary actions for clean room personnel; reports to Shift Supervisor.
