Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions seeks a detailed Photocathode & Chemical Process Technician to support advanced electro-optical product manufacturing in a cleanroom. You will perform metallization, glass preparation, assembly, and quality documentation, following strict procedures and safety protocols.

The role requires 0–3 years in manufacturing or chemical processing, basic computer skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years of manufacturing, assembly, chemical processing, or production experience.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallization and coating of glass substrates using deposition equipment.
• Prepare glass components using approved cleaning agents, solvents, acids, and chemical processes.
• Assemble, package, and prepare production materials following procedures.
• Inspect products using microscopes and precision inspection equipment.
• Identify and classify product defects while maintaining quality records.
• Document production activities using QTS and other electronic systems.
• Safely handle chemicals while following all EH&S procedures.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for production and inventory.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and wear required PPE.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality goals.
