Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Solderer to inspect and prepare electrical panels and circuit boards in a cleanroom environment. You will ensure quality and functionality through assembly and inspection tasks, reading documentation, and following strict process controls.

The role involves bench work, masking, depanelization, coating, and final assembly, with responsibilities including documentation and communication with team leaders. This is an onsite contract position in Albuquerque, NM.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, general labor and assembly.
• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation.
• Manual dexterity and strong inspection skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare electrical panels and circuit boards.
• Trim and form leaded parts accurately.
• Apply PCB masking using liquid mask and Kapton tape.
• Perform PCB depanelization using manual and automated tools.
• Fill out production documentation correctly.
• Communicate with Cell Team Leaders regarding parts shortages and problems.
• Apply epoxy, conformal coating, and RTV following documentation.
• Handle final assembly and pack/ship as required.
• Rotate to different workstations and cells as needed.
• Complete hour-by-hour forms or other documentation for cycle time and performance analysis.
• Assemble, inspect and prepare complex builds including wire diagrams and torque specs.
