Job summary

Integra LifeSciences in Mansfield, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Operator I to assemble and test components using computer-controlled equipment and a variety of manufacturing tools. The role requires following SOPs, GMPs, and quality processes to ensure product conformance and traceability.

You will perform inspections, document data, and participate in team-based process improvements while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in Production, Operations, Manufacturing, or related discipline is required.
• Experience with inspection, assembly and functional testing of components is preferred.
• Experience in Medical Device manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in GMP or regulated environments is preferred.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English is required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to stand/walk more than 80% of the time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks including dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications including First Article inspections.
• Follow SOPs under GMPs, ensuring quality, productivity and dependability.
• Record and enter data into manufacturing documentation and software.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and ISO/FDA compliance.
• Communicate problems to supervisor, technician or engineer promptly.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and equipment.
• Participate in team-based process improvement activities and suggest manufacturing improvements.
• Assist in maintaining supplies for production area.
• Coordinate activities with other manufacturing support areas.
