Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a Cleanroom Manager to safely coordinate and direct operations, including budgeting, planning, vendor and customer relations. The role requires leadership of facilities teams and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field and 2–3 years of cleanroom experience, with a valid driver's license and completion of safety trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop work schedules to ensure adequate service.
  • Prepare schedules for service personnel and assign routes.
  • Inspect and evaluate establishment for safety, quality and service.
  • Audit and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment.
  • Investigate new equipment and methods for improvements.
  • Review customer service requests and address with the manager.
  • Assist with budgets, plans, and schedule modifications including cost estimates.
  • Support long-range plans, designs, and capital outlay requirements.
  • Coordinate program specifications, proposals, and contracts.

Job Overview

The Cleanroom Manager will be responsible for safely coordinating and directing operations to carry out contractual responsibilities of the company including all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, customer relations and other high level managerial duties.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop work schedules to ensure adequate service
  • Prepare schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes
  • Inspect and evaluate physical condition of establishment for program compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service
  • Audit and maintain inventories supply and equipment
  • Investigate new and promotes improved equipment and methods
  • Review customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager
  • Implement organization policies and goals
  • Facilitate budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made
  • Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities
  • Assist with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts
  • Participate in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements
  • Assist with coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents
  • Collect data for preparing estimates, labor hours, expenses, and other metrics
  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Direct supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs
  • Act as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
  • Establish and maintain contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process
  • Review correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate
  • Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top down, and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees
  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues

  • Education and/ or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field. Two to three years of experience in cleanroom environment, manufacturing and production processes. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license. Completed all safety and task training certifications.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees and/or employees performing facilities support services. Is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of each account. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
