Job summary

ABM, Irvine, CA, is seeking a Building Engineer - Cleanroom Facilities to operate, maintain, and optimize critical cleanroom infrastructure and building systems supporting manufacturing and research environments. The role emphasizes ensuring continuous operation of HVAC, filtration, and environmental controls in a regulated setting.

The position requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably an associate degree or technical HVAC certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC/Mechanical Systems, Facilities Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years building maintenance, cleanroom or critical facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair cleanroom mechanical systems and support equipment.
• Maintain cleanroom environmental conditions: temperature, humidity, airflow, pressure differentials.
• Perform inspections of infrastructure and support systems.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom standards and facility procedures.
• Support contamination control and participate in certifications/audits.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns with operations teams.
