Job summary

NXP Semiconductors NV in Austin, TX is seeking a production/cleanroom operator to join our team. The role involves working in a controlled cleanroom environment, donning gowning for extended periods, and supporting multiple functions within the line.

You will interact with Operators and Engineers, adhere to safety practices, and utilize Windows-based systems for data entry. Prior cleanroom experience is a plus, and you must be able to rotate between 2–3 job functions, lifting up to 30 pounds as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to wear a clean room gown for extended periods.
• Good written/oral communication, reading and comprehension skills.
• Self-motivation, a good safety record, and good lab/work habits.
• Be able to contribute effectively in a team environment and interface well with other Operators and Engineers.
• Previous cleanroom experience a plus.
• Ability to rotate between 2-3 job functions.
• Must be able to use chemicals and solvents for use in processing, cleaning and weekly wipe downs.
• Lift up to 30 pounds
• Push or pull heavy objects using up to 30 pounds of force
• Use a Windows based computer for data entry and retrieval
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach, bend, squat, lift arms over head
• Use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
• Visually inspect products using microscopes
• Repetitive motion
