Job summary

OrganaBio's Excellos Lab in San Diego, CA, seeks an Environmental Monitoring Technician to support cleanroom EM and microbiology testing under cGMP, GTP and GLP compliance. You will perform routine EM, calibrate equipment, coordinate sample shipments, assist in investigations, and help prepare quarterly and yearly reports, contributing to a high-quality manufacturing environment.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation practices

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in sciences or related field required.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech/cell therapy environment preferred.
• Cleanroom and GMP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and non-routine environmental monitoring (EM) of cGMP facilities for particulates and surfaces per SOPs.
• Operate and maintain EM equipment with calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate shipment of samples to external labs and assist in EM data trending and reporting.
• Assist investigations of EM-related quality events, deviations, and non-conformances.
