Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience in Production, Operations, Manufacturing or related in a Cleanroom environment.
• Experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in GMP or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write and speak).
• Basic math skills and comfort with decimals are required.
• Must be able to stand/walk >80% of the time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test components and products using computer-controlled equipment and various manufacturing equipment.
• Follow SOPs and GMP guidelines to ensure quality, productivity and dependability.
• Record data into manufacturing documentation and computers, including quality inspection data.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and equipment; participate in training and ISO/FDA compliance.
• Support team with process improvements and provide suggestions for manufacturing enhancements.

Every day, our colleagues are challenging what’s possible and making headway to innovate new treatment pathways to advance patient outcomes and set new standards of care.**Manufacture Operator 1** will be responsible for using equipment including computer-controlled equipment to assemble and test components and products as well as operating various pieces of manufacturing equipmentThis Manufacturing Operator – Assembly & Packaging (Neurosurgical Perforators) Assembled precision neurosurgical perforators and related medical devices in a controlled cleanroom environment following detailed work instructions and engineering specifications.Primary responsibilities are:* Complete tasks including dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications including First Article inspections.* Perform operations as described by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) demonstrating consistently effective job performance encompassing good quality, productivity, and dependability.* Accurately record and enter required information and data into manufacturing documentation and into manufacturing computers including quality inspection data and individual training records.* Ensure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, as well as ISO and FDA compliance. Complete all applicable training requirements.* Communicate problems and opportunities to supervisor, technician or engineer in a timely manner.* Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as required.* Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and equipment.* Participate in team-based process improvement activities. Provide suggestions for manufacturing improvements.* Assist in maintaining supplies needed for production area.* Work closely with other manufacturing support areas to coordinate activities within the manufacturing area.## DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required.* Preferring a minimum of 1 years’ experience in Production, Operations, Manufacturing, and/or related discipline in Cleanroom environment.* Preferring experience working in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is preferred.* Preferring experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or another regulated environment is preferred.* Basic computer skills are required.* The ability to work independently and in a team environment.* The ability to communicate effectively (read, write and speak) in English is required.* Basic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals, are required.* The ability to stand and/or walk more than 80% of the time is required.* The ability to lift to 25 pounds and to stand and sit for extended periods of time with repetitive motion.Salary Pay Range:$19.19 - $25.43 USD Hourly
