Do you enjoy cleaning? Have experience in cleaning and looking to expand your career? Cleaning Technician is responsible to assist in the restoration cleaning process. Will include structure cleaning, content cleaning, pack-in and pack-out procedures and inventory control. Janitorial experience is a plus. Varied and interesting projects. Will participate in mold and mildew remediation or disaster recovery (emergency response) work. WILL be expected to participate in on-call rotation or be called out on emergency work when not on-call if conditions necessitate. Advancement opportunities through continued training/education and ability to gain certifications!
Essential job functions include (but are not limited to):
Inventory of both cleanable and discard content.
Onsite and warehouse cleaning of contents and/or structures.
Inventory control.
Ensure items are packaged securely.
Light demolition work.
Cleaning of carpets, upholstery and drapes.
May strip and wax floors.
Laundry including wash, dry, fold, package.
May work in undesirable environments (water, disaster,etc).
**Cleaning Technician may find instances where they are doing no cleaning and instead responding to water damage calls, setting equipment, demolition, assisting carpenters, etc.
REQUIREMENTS: Current, valid PA Driver's License, good driving record and reliable transportation, high school diploma/GED certification, clean background. We look for dedication, availability, communications skills, versatility, cooperation, detail-oriented work and ability to perform work within a specified timeframe.
