Job summary

AK Building Services Inc is seeking a part-time Cleaning Professional for the 3rd shift in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will perform cleaning duties across residential, commercial, or industrial spaces, maintaining a sanitary and orderly environment.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the physical capacity to handle repetitive cleaning tasks. This is a 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering weekend flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitizing.
• Clean and restock restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Handle waste removal and recycling according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs or supply needs.
• Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Conduct deep-cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, or appliance cleaning as required.
• Ensure all assigned areas meet quality and hygiene standards.
• Secure facilities after cleaning when applicable (locking doors, turning off lights, etc.).
• Communicate any maintenance issues or unusual conditions to supervisors.
