Job summary

HHM Facility Management LLC is seeking a Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This full-time role involves disinfecting, cleaning, and maintaining assigned facilities to support our customers.

You will work with a team across shifts in a facility, performing general cleaning, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, and you may operate equipment such as vacuums and foggers. High school diploma or GED is required, along with safety awareness and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning solutions.

• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate routine maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning in the common areas of the building.
• Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, break areas, and cafeteria.
• Ensures heating and cooling systems are operational.
• Maintains a neat and orderly supply room.
• May use powered equipment such as golf carts, vacuum cleaners, leaf blowers, and fogging machines.
• Assists in examining the facility for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to supervisor.
• Responsible to secure keys and security badges issued.
• Maintain customer and company confidentiality.
• Maintain professional and courteous relationships with coworkers and the customer.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Cleaning Specialist disinfects, cleans, and actively maintains their assigned facilities to support the customer’s needs. They work with a team of peers in an assigned facility with multiple shifts.

Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Performs general cleaning in the common areas of the building.
• Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, break areas, and cafeteria.

Physical Activities

• Will have contact with chemicals commonly used in the janitorial industry.
