Job Position Description

The Cleaning Specialist will clean residential and commercial properties, including deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and contents cleaning. Responsibilities include:

• Perform all cleaning duties for commercial and residential properties, including sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, and mopping
• Clean contents to pre-loss condition following set procedures
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Use proper PPE where required
• Load vehicle with packing materials, prepare boxes, securely wrap and pack contents with care
• Photograph and inventory contents being packed, and record unsalvageable contents
• Assist in moving boxes, furniture, and household items for transportation

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses
• 1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• On-the-job training will be provided to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to be flexible and work at a consistent pace in a multi-tasked job is a must
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a professional attitude
• Dependability and punctuality are essential
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
• Must have transportation
• Must pass a background check
