Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cleaning Services Worker I to maintain assigned areas and meet client expectations in Norfolk, VA. You will thoroughly clean designated areas, operate and store equipment properly, and participate in safety and training programs.

The role may involve physical tasks such as lifting and extended standing; uniforms and PPE may be required. Aramark provides benefits and a supportive environment as part of a global services company.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow existing procedures to performroutine tasks
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
• Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
• Check equipment is safe and working.
• Carry out extra spring/deep cleaning tasks as the need arises.
• Use of site washing machine for internal laundry where appropriate.
• Follow the Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy.
• Report hazards to Management.
• Follow company or component policy in taking care of customer comments or complaints.
• Ensure that clothing, including footwear and headgear, and personal hygiene is of the highest standards atall times.
• Participate in company training to improve your standard of performance.
• Suggest areas of improvement and take any corrective action, as required.
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions of Aramark Management.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $16.89 to $17.31. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
