Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cleaning Services Worker I in Jacksonville to maintain assigned areas and meet client expectations. You will perform routine cleaning, operate basic equipment, and follow safety protocols while upholding Aramark’s standards.

This role requires physical stamina and a flexible approach to hours and duties, with opportunities to participate in training and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow existing procedures to perform routine tasks.
• Flexible approach to hours and duties.
• This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing; PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensure equipment is used and stored as necessary.
• Perform regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
• Check equipment is safe and working.
• Carry out extra spring/deep cleaning tasks as the need arises.
• Use of site washing machine for internal laundry where appropriate.
• Follow Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy.
• Report hazards to Management.
• Follow company or component policy in taking care of customer comments or complaints.
• Ensure that clothing, including footwear and headgear, and personal hygiene is of the highest standards at all times.
• Participate in company training to improve your standard of performance.
• Suggest areas of improvement and take any corrective action, as required.
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions of Aramark Management.

The Cleaning Services Worker I clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
