Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Operational Manager to lead daily carpet cleaning and water restoration operations. You will oversee teams, ensure safety standards, and drive efficiency in service delivery.

The role demands strong leadership, extensive water restoration expertise, and a focus on client satisfaction while maintaining budgets and quality. On-site leadership and industry collaboration are key to success.

Qualifications

• IICRC certifications in Water Restoration, Carpet Cleaning, Applied Microbial Remediation, Fire & Smoke, Trauma & Crime Scene
• OSHA 10 certification is required
• Minimum 5 years in water restoration and carpet cleaning operations
• Experience with industry equipment (truck-mount cleaners, portable cleaners)
• Proven track record in team management and leadership
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with project management/estimating software like Xactimate, MICA/Mitigate, CRM and scheduling tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of carpet cleaning and water restoration departments, on-time and on-budget delivery
• Schedule and supervise teams; provide on-site support for large projects
• Write estimates for water, fire, and mold damage and cleaning projects
• Conduct quality control to ensure IICRC standards and protocols
• Train and mentor staff on safety and equipment use
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and maintain documentation
• Maintain client communication and ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with management to hit operational and revenue goals
• Attend industry events and build relationships with clients and partners
• Develop and implement new procedures to improve service delivery
• Track inventory and equipment maintenance; ensure readiness of resources

Job Summary

Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operational Manager to oversee and drive the day-to-day operations of our Carpet Cleaning and Water Damage Restoration teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water restoration, carpet cleaning, and team management, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the carpet cleaning and water restoration departments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Manage and schedule teams for efficient execution of water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, and related services. May need to provide on site support for some / larger projects.
• Write estimates for water, fire, and mold damage projects, as well as commercial cleaning projects.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to IICRC standards and company protocols.
• Train and mentor team members on techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use, ensuring they stay up-to-date with industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and maintain proper documentation of safety protocols and training.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication,addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Work with upper management to set and achieve operational goals, drive revenue and profit growth, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Attend industry-related events and help lead meetings, and develop / maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and referral partners.
• Assist in developing and implementing new procedures to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
• Maintain and track inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring all resources arereadily available and maintained in good working order.
• Oversee reporting and documentation for all restoration and cleaning projects, including work orders, client records, and billing information.

Qualifications

• Preferred Certifications:
  • IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) with specialties in:
    • WRT (Water Restoration Technician)
    • CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician)
    • AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
    • FSRT (Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician)
    • TCST (Trauma & Crime Scene Technician)
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in water restoration and carpet cleaning operations.
  • Experience with utilization and maintenance of industry specific equipment (such as truck-mount carpet cleaners / extractor, portable cleaners and extractors, etc.).
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership roles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, handling multiple projects at once.
  • Proficiency in using project management/estimating software, such as Xactimate, MICA/Mitigate, CRM systems, and scheduling tools.
