NORY New York, the premier STEM camp provider, is hiring a Part-Time Professional Office Cleaner for our main corporate office near Penn Station in New York, NY. Start date is immediate; compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour for summer and ongoing fall-winter schedules.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, waste disposal, and inventory management, with flexible scheduling from late afternoons to early evenings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of paid commercial, office, or janitorial cleaning experience.
• Exceptionally high cleaning standards and a strong sense of pride in your work.
• Reliability with a proven track record of punctuality.
• Solid organizational or inventory management skills.
• Ability to provide your own baseline cleaning supplies (on-site backups available).
• Ability to speak English and a basic working knowledge of technology (smartphone apps, GPS, and email).
• Strict adherence to all standard health and safety regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Thoroughly clean, maintain, and disinfect assigned office areas, including workspaces, communal areas, and restrooms.
• Perform standard janitorial duties: sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and deep cleaning as required.
• Manage waste disposal and empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Monitor cleaning inventory and organize supplies efficiently.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Part‑Time Professional Office Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you will maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming corporate workspace at our main headquarters.

Position Details

• Summer (June–August): Part‑time, 3–4 days per week, typically 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
• Fall, Winter & Spring: Part‑time, 2 days per week, ideally Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Weekend and evening flexibility is a plus.
• Location: New York, NY (NORY HQ, located near Penn Station). Please note: This position is for our main corporate office, not a camp/school site.
• Start Date: Immediate.
• Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Skills: Solid organizational or inventory management skills.
• Supplies: Ability to provide your own baseline cleaning supplies (though secondary supplies are available on‑site).
• Communication & Tech: Ability to speak English and a basic working comprehension of technology (smartphone apps, GPS, and email).
• Compliance: Strict adherence to all standard health and safety regulations.
