Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to join the cleaning team. You will oversee cleaning activities across floors, washrooms, and communal areas, while managing staff rotas, holidays, audits, and recruitment.

The ideal candidate has managerial or supervisory experience in cleaning, with strong HR knowledge, customer service, and the ability to meet deadlines. Flexible hours and days are required; right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and flexible with hours and days.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
• Manage staff rotas, holidays, site audits, and recruitment.
• Identify on-site training needs and conduct training where possible.
• Investigate incidents and assist with disciplinary matters as needed.
• Monitor cleaning products, stock levels, and place orders within budgets.
