Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client's site and uphold high cleanliness standards. You will manage a small team, coordinate rotas, holidays and training, and ensure records are kept up to date.

You will also audit cleaning quality weekly, oversee stock orders, and liaise with customers to assist and communicate effectively at all levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small cleaning team, including rotas, holidays and performance.

• Order stock, update stock system and distribute to cleaning cupboards.

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client's site.

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
• You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise
