Join the Team as a Cleaning Line/Phos Operator (1st Shift) at ASC Engineered Solutions

Location: Greencastle, PA

Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - General Labor

Compensation: $18.80/hour

Job Description: The Cleaning Line/Kettle Operator (1st Shift) uses a hand-operated crane to run tumblers or baskets of threaded parts through a series of cleaning tanks to remove oil and foreign materials. The operator ensures threaded parts are properly cleaned before shipping, maintains nine tanks with various chemicals, and checks chemical levels and temperatures daily. Responsibilities include changing chemicals, cleaning tanks, inspecting barrels, and using a dolly to move finished parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure threaded parts are properly cleaned before shipping.
  • Maintain chemical levels and temperatures in nine tanks.
  • Change chemicals and clean tanks periodically.
  • Inspect barrels visually for cleanliness and coating quality.
  • Use a dolly to move kettles of finished parts.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day).
  • Repetitive use of hands and reaching at various levels.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Awareness of moving parts and ability to work in hot environments.

Benefits:

  • Starting pay: $18.80/hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
