Job summary

Greenacres Foundation, Inc. is hiring a Cleaning Crew Attendant to maintain historic buildings transformed into modern offices and classrooms. The role emphasizes sustainable products and a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, cleaning experience preferred, and be able to work Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with some evenings/weekends. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with basic computer applications and systems is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Must be able to travel to multiple properties as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, and polish within historic office buildings.
• Ensure spotless cleaning of offices, classrooms, and bathrooms to high standards.
• Monitor cleaning schedules and coordinate with departments.
• Handle requests with professionalism and a customer-friendly attitude.
• Follow health and safety rules and use PPE properly.
• Promote and use sustainable cleaning products and practices.
• Travel to various Greenacres campuses as needed.

Summary:

Our team is looking for a Cleaning Crew Attendant, where you'll have the unique opportunity to clean and maintain historic buildings that have been transformed into modern offices and classrooms. We are seeking a Cleaning Crew Attendant who shares our passion for preservation, sustainability, and community, and who will contribute to creating a pristine and welcoming environment for all who visit Greenacres.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing within unique and historic office buildings.
• Ensure all buildings, offices, classrooms and bathrooms are meticulously cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality.
• Regularly monitor and verify cleaning schedules for any needs or conflicts and maintain open communication with each department to ensure all cleaning requirements are met.
• Manage requests with professionalism and patience and a “How can I help” attitude.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, PPE and be aware of any company-related practices.
• Use and promote the use of sustainable and green products and practices in all cleaning activities.
• Travel to all our properties as needed (currently includes, Indian Hill, OH, Clermont County, OH, Lewis Township, OH and Oldenburg, IN).
• Equipment protection, maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep.
• Minor building preventive maintenance such as filter changes.
• Inventory tracking, supply ordering, and stock control.
• Assist with Green initiatives when needed.
• Maintain clean and neat cleaning storage areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.
• Previous experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper is preferred.
• Ability to work part-time regular work hours between Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm and be flexible with schedule as some evenings and weekends will be required as needed.
• Must have valid driver's license and be an insurable driver under our insurance.
• Must be able to travel to all our properties as needed (currently includes, Indian Hill, OH, Clermont County, OH, Lewis Township, OH and Oldenburg, IN).
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and systems is required.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance and self-motivation.
• Must be friendly as well as customer and detail oriented.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and have time management skills.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Prolonged periods of standing. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, lift and move up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test, physical and FBI fingerprint background screen
