Summary
The Cleaning Crew enhances the guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness of the theater, ultimately serving to improve the entertainment experience and provide a clean and safe environment for all of Emagine’s guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize appropriate equipment and supplies to thoroughly clean restrooms ensuring all contents including toilets, floors, mirrors, partitions, vents, sink areas, and trash receptacles are prepared to provide a safe and comfortable guest experience.
- Clean and maintain the theater and surroundings by effectively operating cleaning equipment which may include backpack and upright vacuums, trash compacters, chemicals, mops and brooms, carpet cleaners, steam cleaners, and floor cleaners.
- Maintain entrance and lobby areas, as well as checking parking, theatre and lobby lighting to ensure a safe and clean environment for all guests and employees.
- Maintain and organize cleaning storage to ensure supplies and equipment are secured in an efficient and safe environment.
- Continually monitor and evaluate essential cleaning supplies to ensure inventory is able to support immediate and ongoing guest needs.
- Organize and disperse requested cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure products are readily available for use by guests and employees.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
- Physical demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision: close vision and depth perception.
- Work environment: Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, occasionally to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock; noise level usually moderate to loud.
Performance Measurements
- Cleaning crew functions are performed efficiently, accurately, and effectively in accordance with established policies and standards.
- All areas of the building are cleaned and maintained following Emagine’s fastidious cleanliness standards.
- Good relations exist with teammates and management staff. Communication is apparent and questions are courteously and promptly resolved.
