The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Cleaning Attendantto join our team at The Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York. As a Cleaning Attendant, you will be responsible for performing custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies and keeping the property neat, clean, and free from clutter.

$22.60 - $22.60 / hour

What will you do?

• Sweep and clean facilities including bathrooms, carpets, walls, windows, break rooms, offices and all other duties as assigned
• Pressure wash concrete surfaces to remove dirt and chewing gum, etc.
• Stock closets and replenish paper products in the restrooms
• Respond to guest inquiries providing accurate courteous information
• Follow safety and environmental business practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition

More about you

• 6 months experience in custodial and related services preferred
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 or more pounds and reach above head level
• May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or high lift or scissor lifts
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work inside and outside with exposure to heat, dirt, noise, fumes, wetness, paint and solvents
