Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Cleaning and Refurbishment Integrator for the Laboratory Support Services and Operations (LASSO) II contract at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL. This full-time role supports 2nd shift operations, with initial training on 1st shift to ensure proficiency in procedures, equipment, and safety requirements.

Based on mission needs, candidates may be asked to provide periodic support to 1st shift long-term.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• 3 years relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize work order requests based on request date, priority level, customer name, and type of work.
• Update work order status in the Laboratory Information Management System throughout the day.
• Transfer parts to required processing spaces.
• Assist engineering with workflow priorities.
• Assign work to cleaning mechanics based on management priorities, and customer needs.
• Interface with customers and communicate work status.
• Assist supervisor in adjusting workflow based on customer feedback.
• Attend meetings with customers and update customer lists/spreadsheets.
• Sample work orders and associated documentation for accuracy and completeness throughout workflow.
• Assist with shop floor spot checks to validate procedures are being followed.

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning and Refurbishment Integrator supporting the Laboratory Support Services and Operations (LASSO) II contractlocated at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL.

This position is being hired to support 2nd shift operations. However, the individuals will be required to train on 1st shift for an initial period to ensure full proficiency with operational procedures, equipment, and safety requirements. Additionally, based on mission needs and workload demands, the employee may be asked to provide continued or periodic support to 1st shift on a long-term basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Associates Degree.
