Job summary

Deliveroo Editions is seeking a Kitchen Assistant / Cleaner to help keep our site clean and support fast order fulfillment for our partners and customers. You will work under the Site Manager, maintaining a spotless environment and assisting in daily operations to ensure orders are prepared and delivered efficiently.

No prior specific kitchen experience is required, and we welcome applicants with the right attitude and drive.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Kitchen Porter or Kitchen Cleaner is a bonus.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Team player with punctuality and ability to work autonomously and support partners.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Site Manager and site management team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning as you go and undertaking regular deep cleans of equipment.
• Clean communal areas and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Work with management to keep a safe, clean site and participate in regular checks.
• Support partners by keeping kitchen equipment clean and ready for use during shifts.

About the role

The Cleaner / Site Associate role covers a wide range of tasks across the Editions site. You will ensure that the site is clean, support the wider operation of the site to ensure that our loyal customers receive their orders as quickly as possible from our trusted partners.

Responsibilities

• You will report into the Site Manager and the site management team.
• Ensuring that the cleanliness of the site is maintained to a high standard by cleaning as you go throughout the shift as well as regular deep cleaning of various equipment throughout the week
• Cleaning communal areas, such as staff room, bathrooms, stock rooms, maintaining site health and safety standards at all times
• Working with the management team to ensure a safe and clean site by participating in regularly checking
• Supporting our partners by keeping kitchen equipment clean and ready for use throughout the shift with the pot wash
