Job summary

Marsden Central is seeking a cleaner in Mankato, MN. Shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00pm to 8:00pm; Location: Mankato, MN. Compensation: $16.00/hour. Permanent position.

As a cleaner you will perform routine floor cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and surface cleaning in offices and common areas. Protective measures and punctuality are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
• Pre-employment criminal background check required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout.
• Waste removal: collect and dispose of trash from bins.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
• Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures and furniture.

Cleaner will clean two bathrooms, a break area, corridor, office spaces, and cubicles while vacuuming carpeted surfaces, and sweeping/mopping hard surfaces. The entry and office wall glass will also need to be cleaned nightly.

• You must be 18 years old.


• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.

• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Job Duties

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors throughout.


• Waste Removal: Collecting and disposing of trash from bins throughout the building.


• Restrooms: Cleaning and sanitizing, restocking supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)


• Surface cleaning: Dusting, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures and furniture.
