Job summary

The JCC of Binghamton, NY is seeking a part-time Cleaner to help maintain a clean and welcoming facility. Your duties include cleaning classrooms and bathrooms, health clubs and locker rooms, and assisting with setup and takedown for various activities. Schedule: Sundays 2:00–7:00 PM plus two weeknights 5:30–10:30 PM, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.

• Cleaning Classrooms & Bathrooms
• Cleaning Health Clubs & Locker Rooms
• Handling set-ups and take-downs for various activities
• Vacuum rugs & shampoo carpets
• Use of auto-scrubber (will train) for hallways, Meeting room, and Auditorium
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested

Since its inception in 1927, the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Binghamton, NY has grown to become an essential part of the Broome County community. As a full-service, non-profit organization, the JCC provides educational, cultural, recreational, and physical fitness programs to enhance the quality of life for all ages, from infants to senior citizens. As a non-sectarian United Way partner, the JCC welcomes participants regardless of age, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or ability to pay.

The JCC facility houses a natatorium with a 2,250 square foot pool, newly refurbished gymnasium, fitness center, men's and women's health clubs with steam rooms and saunas, a fitness loft with spin bikes and Pilates reformers, auditorium, and more. Over 200 children are served daily at our award-winning Early Childhood Education center. Our year-round educational childcare includes UPK, after-school programs, summer camp, and youth sports offerings.

The 8-acre land also features outdoor Tennis/Pickleball and Basketball courts, Soccer field, and three age-appropriate playground facilities.
