About your role:

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring cleaning standards are met, as well as creating a relaxing environment for our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, cleanliness, safety and a strong understanding of cleaning requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents.

You will therefore hold strong communication skills combined with the ability to build positive and warm working relationships with residents and colleagues.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
• Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
• Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program
• Cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing
• Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
• Understand and execute infection control initiatives
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards

What You’ll Bring:

• Organised, can-do attitude to what can be a physically demanding team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work across any day of the week
• Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen) within an Aged Care Environment
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety

Essential Requirements:

• Current NDIS check clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Proof of Work rights in Australia
