Job summary

Workstream in Tarentum, PA is seeking an experienced Cleaner/Janitor to keep buildings clean and well-maintained. The candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and take responsibility for a tidy, well-organized environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping), servicing restrooms, cleaning windows and surfaces, and reporting repairs. A high school diploma or equivalent and proven cleaning experience are required.

• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
• Engaging in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors, checking electrical appliance).
• Moving equipment, supplies, and furniture.
• Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities.
• Maintaining tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties.
• Requiring supplies of the tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties.
• Organizing and executing spraying of fumigant and insecticides.
