Job summary

Delaware North Gaming in Daytona Beach, FL is hiring a full-time Cleaner to join our housekeeping team at the Daytona Poker Room. You’ll help maintain clean, sanitized public areas, rooms, and restrooms while providing friendly guest service.

Shift options include evenings, overnight, and weekends. No high school diploma required; 18+; previous cleaning or guest service experience is a plus, but not required. Weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Limited to no experience required; previous cleaning or guest service preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, vacuums, and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Conduct walk-arounds to ensure housekeeping standards are met.
• Interact with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms and assist as needed.
• Report maintenance and repair problems to the Supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are logged daily.

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Cleaner to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a Cleaner, you will be a key member of the housekeeping team, helping to create a great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.

Pay

$15.00 - $15.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies, maintaining sanitation guidelines.
• Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to ensure that the facility meets housekeeping standards
• Interact with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms, assisting guests as needed.
• Report maintenanceand repair problems to the Supervisor
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift
• Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying
