Job summary

Frost Museum of Science is hiring a Day Core Cleaner. You will vacuum, mop, sweep floors, remove trash, and clean restrooms and break rooms to keep the building sanitary and safe. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude, takes initiative, and is dependable.

Responsibilities include handling daily cleaning tasks, supporting facility cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards. Training is provided for janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.

• Trash removal and cleaning rest rooms and break rooms.
• Performing other miscellaneous cleaning duties to maintain a healthy, safe environment.

We are seeking to hire a Day Core Cleaner. You will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Benefits:

• Full time
• Pay rate $15/hr.
• Hours: +32 hours weekly
• Schedule: Monday through Wednesday 6 hours daily during weekdays 7 hours on Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, Hight Seasons, or as needed.
