Servicon, a family- and women-owned environmental solutions company in California, is seeking a custodial cleaner to support infection prevention in complex facilities. You will follow established cleaning standards, maintain sanitary conditions, and interact with staff and clients as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of custodial cleaning experience, with strong interpersonal and time-management skills to thrive in a busy environment.

Responsabilités

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste receptacles and manage waste.
• Vacuum rugs and clean hard floors; damp-mop spills in offices and public areas.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces.
• Remove finger marks from doors, switches, and glass surfaces.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
