Your day as a Cleaner

As a Part-Time Cleaner at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic residential environment. Your daily responsibilities will include changing beds, managing laundry, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash to ensure a clean, safe space for our residents. You will also assist with dishwashing and ensure that all food items in cupboards and refrigerators are labeled with expiration dates for safety. Reporting any safety hazards to the residential manager and notifying your supervisor of supply needs will be essential parts of your job. This position requires you to carry out your tasks independently while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
