As a J&J Cleaning Coordinator, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal. This job is part of the Cleaning Services function, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings.

Shift:

1st & 2nd

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stored safely and securely. Complete detailed cleaning checklists for each area.
• Follow standardized cleaning procedures as per company standards.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment following proper procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training sessions.
• Follow work routines and standards, exercising limited discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties and tasks.
• Deliver output by following procedures under supervision.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting/carrying 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow work routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
