Job summary

Meijer in Canal Winchester, OH is seeking a Cleaner to maintain a neat, safe, and welcoming store environment. You will sweep, mop, dust, sanitize surfaces, restrooms, entryways, break areas, and other store spaces as needed, and respond promptly to spills and maintenance issues.

You’ll work with a team, pay attention to detail, and communicate professionally with customers while completing tasks. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas to support a neat, safe, and welcoming store environment
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces, restrooms, entryways, break areas, and other store spaces as needed
• Empty trash, replace liners, and keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products, equipment, and handling spills
• Respond promptly to spills, messes, and maintenance needs to help prevent hazards
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members while completing cleaning tasks
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Support additional tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly
• Must be comfortable with running a floor scrubber.
