The position emphasizes bench-scale and pilot-scale design, hands-on experimentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration among engineers and chemists.

Applicants with B.S./M.S./Ph.D.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Hands-on laboratory or pilot-plant experience preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to ITAR restrictions.
• GPA > 3.3 at all degree levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble bench-scale and pilot-scale systems (high pressure/high temperature experience is a plus).
• Hands-on water purification and gas-phase separation work.
• Work with analytical characterization techniques (GC, LC, TGA, DSC, FTIR, UV).
• Engage in LabVIEW programming, PLCs, and P&ID/PFD design if applicable.
